Welcome to Mid-America Home Inspections

Mission Statement
Buying a new home may be the biggest investment you'll ever make. Although the process is very exciting, it quickly becomes overwhelming. While the home you have selected may appear to be just what you are looking for, how can you be sure there aren't potentially serious unknown defects which can make your investment in your future a costly one? Having your new home professionally inspected by my company as early as possible in the buying process can save you hundred or maybe even thousands of dollars on items which you may be able to have the seller or builder correct.

As your home inspector I will provide the highest level of value and quality of service in my industry. My experience as a project manager, carpenter and trained electrician will allow me to act as an advocate for your clients, presenting unbiased information. My reports are both easy to understand, and user friendly format. My role is to educate your clients and be a resource for them both during and after the inspection. Buying a home is one of the largest investments you will ever make. So when it's time to hire someone for your St. Louis or Lake Ozark home inspection you'll want the peace of mind that you had it inspected by Mid-America Home Inspections. During the course of your inspection I will look for common defects and some not so common ones.

Should I attend the home inspection?
It is not necessary for you to be present for the inspection, but it is highly recommended. You will be able to observe me in the process of the inspection and ask questions directly, as you learn about the condition of the home, how its systems work and how to maintain it. You will also find the written report easier to understand if you've seen the property first-hand through the inspector's eyes.

Areas of Inspection

Work Experience
Prior to being a home inspector, I worked as a project manager, for St. Louis’ premier home builder The Jones Company, ensuring that each home was built to the exact specifications of the customers’ expectations as well as complying with in city code regulations. I have also worked as a carpenter for four years and constructed numerous new homes and rehabbed about half a dozen, furthermore I worked for the largest chimney sweep in St. Louis inspecting over 400 chimneys. In May of 2004 I received my applied electrical degree from Vatterott Tech in Sunset Hills, MO.
